Call for papers


The DCMI 2002 Programme Committee invites papers in the following categories:

  • E-Government
  • Search engines and metadata
  • Educational metadata: improving communication
  • Knowledge management
  • Use of DC metadata for commerce and intranets
  • Semantic web: roles of standard cataloguing, indexing, metadata and ontologies
  • Metadata interoperability: tools and protocols
  • Cultural heritage metadata

Papers deadline is 15th June 2002


The DC-2002 Program Committee has received requests for extensions for submission of papers for DC-2002.

Authors are encouraged to submit paper by the original deadline, but late submissions will be accepted until JUNE 29.

Authors expecting to submit late manuscripts are requested to send a message declaring their intent by June 15 to dc2002info@bncf.firenze.sbn.it.
